CERF 2015 aims to offer the ultimate attendee experience, from enriching workshops and networking opportunities to off-site day trips to local nature sites and attractions. Whatever your interests may be, you can be sure you won't have to look far for things to do at CERF 2015. Be sure to also check out the Field Trips, Workshops, Women in Science Luncheon and the Silent Auction! Sign up and purchase tickets for these events during registration. If you have already registered and want to purchase a ticket, or would like to register a guest for the 5 K Fun Run or Punch Bowl Social, please call the CERF office at (206) 209-5262 to add the event to your registration.

5K Fun Run / Walk

Tuesday, November 10 | 7 - 8:30 am 

Cost: $20

CERF will once again host a 5K (3.1 mile) fun run/walk as a part of the 2015 biennial conference. This year's route is down and back along the west bank of the Willamette River using the Waterfront Park trail. All paid participants will get a keepsake after the race, and prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers. Preregistration is required. Interested participants can sign up at registration. 

If you are interested in helping with the run, we need volunteers to assist with water stations, setup, and cleanup. Interested volunteers, please contact Kate Hewett, Melanie Garate, or Brian Turner.

Punch Bowl Social

Tuesday, November 10 | 7 - 10 pm
Cost: Regular $45 | Student $35 

Punch Bowl Social is a modern gastro diner where drinkers, diners, gamers and clubbers unite. CERFers are about to experience a venue that is HIP, FUNKY, OUT-OF-THE-BOX, LAID-BACK, STYLISH, and FUN - the very essence of Portland!!  

Enjoy the company of your friends and colleagues while interacting and conversing through games, and hanging out in a very Portland-esque experience where you feel like you have been transported back in time to an even hipper version of vintage decades.  Punch Bowl Social offers bowling, karaoke, ping pong, darts, corn hole and more!  Sip on your favorite beverage – this ain’t no kid’s arcade!

Included with the ticket is one drink ticket, stationed food and appetizers, music, games and a night of fun interaction.
